IMPORTANT: Fă şi tu parte dintre cei care îl ajută pe Cevi!

Craiovenii sunt din nou puşi în faţa unei drame. Florin Gavrilă, cunoscut de toată lumea Cevi, este victima unei sorţi perfide. La 27 de ani, după ce a devenit tatăl unei fetiţe superbe, o malformaţie congenitală, despre care nimeni nu avea idee, şi-a arătat colţii. Pericolul ca Cevi să nu-şi mai vadă niciodată copilul poate fi alungat cu ajutorul vostru!

Drama lui Cevi a început acum două săptămâni. După ce îşi planificase concediul de vară cu câteva luni înainte, în sfârşit putea să se bucure de el. Se afla cu soţia la nişte prieteni, în Timişoara. Pe 17 iulie, o banală durere de cap s-a transformat într-un coşmar pe care îl trăieşte alături de familie şi prieteni.

Primul dram de noroc
Pentru că durerea devenea din ce în ce mai insuportabilă, Cevi a fost dus la Spitalul Judeţean de Urgenţă din Timişoara. Acolo, medicii au descoperit că are o malformaţie congenitală cerebrală, iar durerea îngrozitoare de cap era semnul unei sângerări abundente în zona creierului. Diagnosticul este la fel de complicat precum sună: „malformaţie anteriovenoasă situată la nivelul amigdalei cerebeloase dreapta cu artera nutritivă la nivel P.I.C.A. dreaptă şi semn de drenaj la nivelul sinusurilor duale sigmoide, având dimensiuni de 3.03/3.05/2.37 cm. Fără alte modificări la nivelul arterelor poligonului Willis“. Coma a intervenit aproape imediat, iar medicii au reacţionat în cel mai scurt timp cu putinţă. Au făcut tot posibilul pentru a-l ţine în viaţă, iar până acum au reuşit, deşi coma a durat câteva zile. Cu toate că este treaz, Cevi este în permanenţă sub influenţa sedativelor sau calmantelor puternice. Nu mai este deloc la fel ca înainte. Nu îi este prea clar unde se află şi de ce, nu mai ştie să facă lucruri simple, cum ar fi să mănânce singur şi nu se poate da jos din pat. Trist şi sec, revenirea din comă nu este sfârşitul calvarului. Are nevoie de o operaţie în străinătate, care să îl scape de malformaţia blestemată, iar totul costă 40.000 de euro.

Cevi a cântat că va supravieţui
Familia îi este alături în fiecare clipă, iar de pe blogul fratelui său, Mihai Gavrilă, fost jurnalist de marcă al Craiovei, acum un umil angajat al Aeroportului Craiova, cei rămaşi acasă pot urmări în fiecare zi care este starea sa. Unul dintre ultimele şi cele mai îmbucurătoare posturi este acesta: „Ca să vă ţin la curent, să ştiţi că frate-meu e tot mai bine, în sensul că a început să mănânce puţin câte puţin şi chiar astăzi a învăţat să bea apă singur, când îi e sete. În rest, nu e foarte fericit, pentru că e deja a noua zi în care stă în pat şi cred că îl dor toate oasele şi muşchii. Mai are nişte puseuri efemere de febră, dar în rest e ok. I-am dus şi un radio, ca să mai acopere din piuitul ăla enervant al monitoarelor, piiu-piiu-piu-piiiiu. Ultima dată zicea ceva despre culesul viilor, din motive medicale sau pentru că fu azi vremea mai tomnatică i se pare lui că acum ar fi sezonul potrivit”, scrie Mihai Gavrilă pe blogul său. Tot pe blogul cu pricina, www.sarpente.ro, puteţi citi cel mai emoţionant moment al dramei pe care Cevi o trăieşte. Întâmplarea poate fi totodată „promisiunea“ că totul se va termina cu bine: „Într-o noapte, el singur într-un salon cu 4 asemenea legume umane, a cântat «I will survive». Nu suna chiar ca Gloria Gaynor, dar pentru mine a fost cel mai emoţionant moment al vieţii mele”, scria Mihai Gavrilă.

Cevi are nevoie de voi!
Pentru că face parte din lumea celor buni, în conştiinţa şi purtarea căruia răutatea nu şi-a găsit rostul, în jurul său s-a creat în cele două săptămâni o adevărată reţea. Prieteni, foşti prieteni, colegi, cunoştinţe sau oameni despre care el nu a auzit poate niciodată s-au unit într-o campanie ce creşte surprinzător de repede. Toţi bat la fiecare portiţă ce poate fi deschisă pentru a strânge cei 40.000 de euro fără de care operaţia lui Cevi nu ar putea fi făcută. În zilele următoare, vă puteţi întâlni chiar şi voi pe stradă cu cei care încearcă să pună umărul pentru ca Cevi să îşi revadă copilul. Pe străzile Craiovei vor fi împărţiţi fluturaşi, iar nişte tineri drăguţi vă vor ruga să luaţi parte la campanie.

The Tsuba Rarities album is a collection of exclusive new tracks & remixes, unreleased dubs and alternate versions from the Tsuba vaults.
The sampler kicks off with a stunning Nina Kraviz mix of Okain’s ‘Scream’. Clocking in at 12’41 & complete with her own vocals and a bassline straight out of Chicago, this mix has already blown the roof off Panorama Bar and Fabric. One word – CLASSIC!
Danton Eeprom was one of the first Tsuba artists back in 2006 and has since gone on to achieve great success, this year releasing his debut solo album ‘Yes Is More’ on Infine. Perc (Ovum / Drumcode / Perc Trax) personally requested to remix Danton’s lost classic ‘Infinity Symbol’ with spine tingling results, using the epic strings of the original to full effect. Finally, Tsuba label boss Kevin Griffiths delivers a bass heavy house workout of Motorcitysoul’s ‘Phantasy’.

Damian Lazarus’ debut artist album Smoke The Monster Out is his indisputable opus. Already world renowned as a DJ, producer and the head of influential underground label Crosstown Rebels, Lazarus redefined himself in May 2009 with Smoke The Monster Out; a brave, textured, enchanting and intensely personal passion project that reflected his own wide-ranging tastes as a music lover, and showcased his talents as producer, lyricist, vocalist and arranger.

Having caused a seismic ripple amongst fans and critics alike with Smoke The Monster Out, the album became the basis of an extensive worldwide club tour for Damian in 2009. From his new Los Angeles base, he set to work early in the year with one of his favourite American artists – abstract techno producer Kenneth J Gibson of [a]pendics.shuffle – to rework the album to form the basis of the live show. Through many studio sessions, Smoke the Monster Out was re-imagined for the club experience, combining the delicacy and quirkiness of the album’s best and boldest moments, with the deep, dark and twisted dancefloor groove that Lazarus is famous for. With an increasing number of requests for these club versions, Damian is now finally able to sate appetites by releasing this highly anticipated selection, Smoke The Monster Out – Club Versions.
